The 75-day soft challenge

The gentler, community version of the 75-day idea, often called 75 Soft. Same daily rhythm, kinder rules and a rest day built in.

  • 75 days
  • Done
  • Every day
  • Ranked by days

A gentler plan is still a plan. Choose movement that suits your body, build up gradually and check with a doctor first if you have a health condition. Streako tracks your check-ins; it is not a fitness or nutrition plan.

The rules

  1. 1

Each day: 30 minutes of movement, eat the way you planned, drink water through the day and 10 minutes of reading or learning.

  2. 2

One planned rest day a week, chosen in advance (for example every Sunday). On that day, tick if you did everything except the movement.

  3. 3

Tick only when the day's standard is met. Only days inside the challenge dates count.

  4. 4

Most completed days wins. Ties share a place.

Why this challenge works

The soft version exists because many people find the strict ones too much to keep up alongside work, family and real life. Lower intensity makes it far more likely you are still going on day 75, and finishing is where a long challenge pays off.

Any movement counts: a walk, yoga, a bike ride, a gym session. That keeps it open to mixed groups, and the planned rest day gives your body a break without breaking the chain.

It still asks for something every day. One Yes / No tick keeps the rules clear: either you met your soft standard or you did not, and the leaderboard counts the days you did.

Week by week

  1. Days 1 to 14

Pick your rest day and your default movement. A 30-minute walk is a perfectly good default.

  2. Days 15 to 35

Add variety so movement does not get stale: a class one week, a longer walk at the weekend.

  3. Days 36 to 60

Protect the reading. It is the easiest task to forget on a busy evening, so attach it to something fixed, like your morning coffee or bedtime.

  4. Days 61 to 75

Keep the rhythm to the end, then decide which parts you want to keep as separate habits.

Tips to win

  • Add "rest day" in the note on your rest-day check-in, so your history stays clear.
  • Split movement if you need to: two 15-minute walks add up.
  • Keep a water bottle in sight. It is the task most people forget.
  • Coming from a stricter version? Agree as a group which rules you are softening before day one.

The habit stays daily. On your planned rest day you skip the movement and still tick the day if you did the rest. Choose the rest day in advance so it cannot become an excuse.

Yes, on purpose. Our 75-day challenge has a stricter daily set and no rest days. Pick the one your group can actually finish.
